Streetplay terms and conditions

1. Eligibility

StreetPlay is intended exclusively for:

  • Individuals 18 years of age or older

  • Parents or legal guardians of minors

By creating an account, you represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old

  • You are a parent or legal guardian

  • All information you provide is accurate and truthful

  • You will maintain only one personal account

StreetPlay reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that provide false or misleading information.

2. Nature of the Service

StreetPlay is a hyper-local community platform that allows parents to coordinate outdoor play activities for their children.

StreetPlay:

  • Does NOT provide childcare services

  • Does NOT supervise children

  • Does NOT background-check users beyond identity verification

  • Does NOT guarantee the conduct of any user

All interactions arranged through StreetPlay occur at the sole responsibility of the participating parents or guardians.

3. Identity Verification

To maintain safety and trust, StreetPlay may require identity verification through a third-party provider (including, but not limited to, Stripe Identity).

By using StreetPlay, you:

  • Consent to identity verification

  • Consent to document verification and biometric/selfie comparison

  • Acknowledge that verification may be required for full platform access

  • Agree that failure to complete verification may limit or revoke access

StreetPlay may retain verification records as described in Section 8.

4. Location and Neighborhood Matching

StreetPlay uses geolocation data to:

  • Determine your neighborhood

  • Match you with nearby parents within a defined radius

StreetPlay does NOT publicly display your exact home address.

By using StreetPlay, you consent to:

  • Collection of address or geolocation data

  • Radius-based neighborhood grouping

  • Display of approximate location within your designated neighborhood

You are responsible for ensuring your address information is accurate.

5. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Supervise your child at all times

  • Independently evaluate any meeting or play activity

  • Use your own judgment before participating in offline interactions

You acknowledge that StreetPlay cannot guarantee the behavior, safety, or identity of other users beyond identity verification procedures.

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may NOT:

  • Impersonate another person

  • Use false identity information

  • Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users

  • Share private information of others without consent

  • Use the platform for commercial solicitation

  • Use the platform for dating purposes

  • Facilitate unlawful activities

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or permanent removal.

7. Account Suspension and Moderation

StreetPlay reserves the right to:

  • Suspend accounts

  • Permanently terminate accounts

  • Restrict access

  • Remove content

  • Cooperate with law enforcement when legally required

Decisions regarding account enforcement are made at StreetPlay’s discretion.

8. Data Storage and Identity Records

StreetPlay may store:

  • Account information

  • Identity verification status

  • ID verification session identifiers

  • Related compliance records

Identity-related data may be retained for safety, compliance, fraud prevention, and legal purposes.

Sensitive identity documents are handled through secure third-party verification providers and are not publicly accessible.

9. Child Safety Disclaimer

StreetPlay is a coordination tool only.

StreetPlay:

  • Does not supervise children

  • Does not provide transportation

  • Does not verify parenting practices

  • Does not guarantee the safety of any child

Parents and guardians remain solely responsible for their children’s safety at all times.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

StreetPlay and its owners, officers, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • Injuries occurring during offline activities

  • Disputes between users

  • Property damage

  • Emotional distress

  • Indirect or consequential damages

The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE.”

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless StreetPlay from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your offline interactions

12. Termination

You may delete your account at any time.

StreetPlay may terminate access at its discretion for violations of these Terms.

Certain data may be retained for compliance or safety purposes after termination.

13. Changes to These Terms

StreetPlay may update these Terms at any time.

If changes are material, users may be required to re-accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the Service.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the applicable jurisdiction in which StreetPlay operates.
